The Early Year’s Education Programme at Mahatma Education Society, is a much endeared and well researched endeavour. We pride ourselves in promoting alternative approaches and champion innovative practices throughout the Early Years Education Programme at MES. Our Programme provides a ‘Holistic approach to Early Child Development’ which aims at designing developmentally appropriate learning experiences to synergistically develop the child in areas of sensory-motor, cognitive-language, socio-emotional, expressive arts and moral development. Play Way method and Active Learning are at the core of the Early Year’s curriculum at MES and thus our motto: “Joy of learning” encourages each child to be independent and self-confident learners. Building positive relationships is the guiding principle which values the uniqueness of each child and provides for enabling safe, secure, stimulating and enriching environments that nurtures the self-esteem of the child. Thus our central aim is to prepare the child towards readiness for school and to shape the young minds with good character, morals and life-skills to be successful individuals in life.
